I feel like the argument is kind of cliché - Most companies you're talking about might not be super innovative or seeing the world in a new way. They're more like building on existing ideas and making small improvements. Like, what's so innovative about food delivery? Real innovation is about huge changes in how we live, like TVs, the internet, railways, and planes. Saying "they look at the world through a new lens every day" might not be spot-on, since most companies are just trying to keep their business going. If they were always changing their viewpoint, it'd be tough to make any products. So, using "First Principles Thinking" as an example here might not be the best fit.
